The theme of the upcoming quarter at Hamilton Elementary, I have decided to research the theories of flight and come up with a way to construct a working flight apparatus/ construction paper stick bird. The lesson is based on the most amazing prints from Charles Harper's Birds & Words. They are so simple, but remind me of a mix between Cubist painting and Art Nouveau sensibility...
